First Bus wanted to tell the human stories behind its service. So we created First Bus Firsts, a series of short, social-first films celebrating the memorable ‘firsts’ made possible by a bus journey.

From first dates to first matches and first exhibitions, we met a diverse cast of contributors across West Yorkshire and Scottish regions, capturing their stories in their own words. Filmed everywhere from buses and depots to sports grounds and galleries, each film combined candid interviews, journey recreations and playful cutaways.
